Fantastic FourA Fundraising Concert at the Glenn Gould Studio The MAKE Foundation and the Bravo School of Music are proud to present a concert of classical music at the Glenn Gould Studio on Thursday, October 25, 2007. This fundraising event will feature the award-winning Yale graduate Maria Anissovets, one of Canada’s most exciting young violinists. She has played with Victor Feldbrill and the Toronto Symphony and more recently performed in honour of Mrs. Ban Soon-taek, wife of the new Secretary General of the United Nations. She will be joined in concert by Vladislav Kovalsky – an acclaimed pianist of prodigious musicianship, winner of numerous international competitions, and a Steinway Artist. The concert will also showcase performances by the recipient of the CBC Galaxie Rising Stars Award, brilliant pianist Elina Kelebeev, and charming tenor Stanislav Vitort from the celebrated Moscow State Conservatory.
The great atmosphere of the Glenn Gould Studio, one of the best concert halls in Toronto, and smashing talents of the artists promise this concert to be a joy for the attending audience.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards music scholarships for gifted children, programs for children touched by cancer, and subsidized music education in community centres.
