My name is Max and I have been with ASFSR for last 2 years. I started off as member but quickly climbed up the executive ladder to become the President.
I would like to continue on with President status next year.
During my stay on the executive team I achieved the following:
- Helped to promote and establish the brand image of ASFSR on campus
- Organized and assisted in management of several major events
- Brought tons of new members
- Organized heavy campus promotions of events
- Created a website for the club
- Improved the online discussion forum
- Registered an office space for ASFSR in York Student Center
Next Year, I Plan to do the following:
- Promote ASFSR on campus to an extent that other York clubs, students, and York administration will recognize the existence and importance of the club
- Establish a concrete executive structure that will allow self running processes to take place
- Create a weekly newsletter that will announce events, funny news, and provide means to connect people in the club
- Introduce new events and maintain the frequency of popular events: Movie Nights, Pub nights, Pikniks, Outings, Volleyball and Football, etc..
- Create an online space for the club where people can meet new people based on their interests which will allow faster bonding between members of the club.
- Maintain healthy relationships with other Russian speaking student clubs at UofT and Ryerson
- Smile more frequently
