To allow university and college students create valuable lifelong connections, apply their skills on real life projects and discover and learn Russian language and culture.
Who can join?:
Regardless whether you speak Russian language or simply passionate about Russian culture, it's arts and rich history, you are welcome to join RuSSA @ YorkU.
What we do?:
RuSSA organizes variety of events throughout the year in which students can Connect, Apply and Discover.
Here are some the of the projects that we do:
- Weekly events such as pub nights, movie nights, club outings, paintball, golf, soccer tournaments, beach volleyball, art gallery visits and so on...
- Medium sized events such as camping trips, ski trips, barbeque parties, cultural nights, etc...
- Large scale events such as InterUniversity/InterClub sport tournaments, semi-formals, and parties which require a lot of advanced planning and special care because attendance is usually over 150 people.
